What is the primary purpose of Pink Soldiers United
As a female Veteran I have found that in our population we tend to suffer in silence alone. Women play many roles in life and are often forgotten because we maintain the home, take care of kids, perform wifely duties and have an occupation at the same time. Yet, we Soldier on! Military and our Civilian Sisters alike, we fade into the paint on the walls and often forget how to live and solve our own problems because we´re taking care of otherś. The United States Military doesn't train us to be soft so there is confusion when we leave the military and people dont understand our boldness/military bearing. That is why Pink Soldier´s is necessary. To have a place where we connect, complain, learn to enjoy life and articulate freely to one another knowing that we are understood. There is peace in understanding.
The Pink Soldiers United Organization is positioned to become a Readjustment and Restoration Center for Female Veterans. In March of 2023, I will have a weekly video call and monthly meet and greet to create social interactions and get to know another session. This can allow us to discuss how Pink Soldiers can effectively help in female Veterans' daily walk of life. Meetings are being arranged in Charlotte first and there are plans to expand to Greensboro and Fayetteville for the purpose of continuity and continuing support of one another as we live, grow and move forward in our individual life that we walk.
The PSU website, facebook and instagram will be updated to preview activities occurring in the Pink Soldiers Organization and Membership Chat rooms. Members have to be Female and a Veteran, provide a form of military ID such as: Veteran ID card, Retired Duty ID, Active Duty ID, DD214 or Military documentation that indicates your service in the Armed Forces. Special cases may arise as we have female warriors that serve on foreign and domestic soil and cannot acknowledge their service. Until we meet and greet. Be Blessed.

Jr. Pink Soldiers (JPS)
Junior Pink Soldiers or (JPS) is a summer program for girls 7-17 years old. The program's goals are to create a healthy, balanced, educational and futuristic influence as well as including and honoring traditional practices of old. These young ladies are the future and many will become mothers, doctors, attorneys, politicians, entertainers, teachers, chefs, psychologists, nurses, police officers, firefighters and join the ranks of those who protect our nation in the United States military.
It is in this vein that JPS was created to provide a measure of additional support in the community as these young ladies grow into womanhood. A womanhood that when she looks to her left and to her right a sister stands beside her. Color, creed, religion, culture and sexual orientation is not the primary question, because respect, character, trust, strength, knowledge, love and the willingness to learn and grow shadow the foundation of fighting like a girl. In our life journey as young girls, growing into womanhood, and then many eventually becoming mothers, our lives are a roller coaster. On that ride we fight, we live, we fight, we grow, we fight, we cry, we fight, we love, we fight, we laugh, we fight and we understand the fight evolves into a transformational stance. This stance becomes a part of our core being. JPS seeks to provide tools for transforming participating young girls because these young ladies represent a small segment of the female population and the hope is that what they gain will be transferred, adopted and shared with others.

The year 2025 brought many changes to Pink Soldiers United and Jr. Pink Soldiers. We had begun to study different cultures in camp and realized the necessity for children to be educated about one another. So, we decided that there was a need for children to be able to ask questions that are important to them and gain a better understanding of different races and cultures with their ideologies. The summer camp has changed into a cultural experience so these girls can reinforce their belief systems with facts about people in the world.

´The Year ofTheFirehorse´
This year we will study Asian culture, food, ideas, art, symbolism and religion. We are excited to be back with this new Jr. Pink Soldiers program created for the purpose of blending hearts and minds. Solely, to connect, understand, engage, respect and care for one another. In the traditional Chinese zodiac, this specific combination of the Horse and the Fire element comes around only once every 60 years. The Rare 60-Year Cycle of the Fire Horse occurred in 1966. The combination of fire and horse is known in Chinese metaphysics as Bing-Wu. Bing represents Yang Fire and Wu represents the Horse. The symbolism of the Horse represents motion, freedom, and momentum, while the Fire element brings passion, speed, and bold action. Together, this cycle is widely associated with heightened passion, energy, and courage.

The Next Chapter
This year Jr. Pink Soldiers will undergo several changes. We will have a Captain and Assistant Captain every year moving forward. The purpose is to encourage these young ladies to gain a better understanding of leadership, how to lead in any role, how to respect one another in all things, and how teamwork truly is a dream that can fulfill many and propel others to seek higher levels of success.
Next the organization will begin a program that starts in January 2027. This program will be an extension of the camp where the young ladies will meet one weekend a month where they can learn, continue to grow, and enjoy the different activities they will participate in . The purpose is to encourage independence, improved self-esteem, and the understanding of friendship. The hope is that while engaging in these activities they will broaden their knowledge of life and seek understanding growing into mature young women.
Donations
We are living in a time where finances are a truly difficult topic for anyone. However, we have to yet push on with the hope that times will get better. We must continue to prepare our children for the future that they will navigate. Preparation is everything and leaders are not born but made and often visible right in front of us.
I am seeking donations for the Jr. Pink Soldiers camp. The cost of the camp for the students is zero. Some of these young ladies have participated in the camp from day one while others have come and adopted a JPS attitude about school, success, how to interact with others, respect, respecting your parents and elders, and understanding that this is our country and we must do what we can to make it better. They are taught to keep hope alive because they are our hope. The information to donate is noted below. We ‘Thank You´ and wish you much success.
